In 2007-08, over 8.4 million eligible students did not complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Of these, approximately 2.3 million would have been eligible for a Pell Grant - FREE federal assistance that made it possible for over 8 million low-income students to afford college tuition in 2009-10! Additionally, the FAFSA is used by colleges, universities, and vocational schools to determine a student's entire financial aid award package, including grants, scholarships, work-study awards, and federal loan assistance. With over $154 billion in federal assistance available, it is distressing that last year, 41% of students did not apply at all.

The FAFSA is a student's ticket to paying for college. With your support, FAFSA Free-for-All events can help.
