The FAFSA Free-for-All is a state-wide collaboration among trained volunteers to help high school seniors, college students and their families complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA is required to qualify for federal financial aid. FAFSA Free-for-All provides free, professional and confidential assistance statewide for students and their families

The 2014 FAFSA Free-For-All events are scheduled between January 1 and June 30, 2014. All events are conveniently located throughout New Mexico. For information on a FAFSA event(s) in your local area please visit the locations page

In New Mexico, many college students rely on some form of financial aid. FAFSA Free-for-All seeks to provide students with the maximum opportunity to afford college. First generation college attendees, veterans, and students from low- to moderate-income families are target student populations, though any New Mexico student may attend and receive free support.

The program began in 2006 as College Goal Sunday New Mexico and served students at 4 event site locations. Now, six years later, FAFSA Free-for-All has expanded to serve students at over 60 locations across New Mexico.

The 2014 program goal is to serve 2,074 New Mexico students with FAFSA completion support. aiming to increase the numbers of first generation college students, veterans, and students from low- to moderate-income families complete the FAFSA form by 10%.
